Summary: Laurie and Miriam went above and beyond to accommodate our late night arrival! Coffee and the made to order breakfast were ready promptly at the later hour we requested, and the company at the dining table made for great conversation. Our stay was short (Juan Santamaria arrival night) but it was a welcome improvement from staying in an airport hotel.

Summary: Amazing home, clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. But what stood out the most was Lauri and Meriam, so warm and friendly, it felt like visiting with family!! Would absolutely recommend, and will stay here again any chance we get!! Thank you Lauri!!!

Summary: The place is nice and I enjoy the 2nd floor large patio/balcony. However, the service is superb. Laurie and Miriam make you feel like family. There is definitely a personal touch you cannot get in a hotel.

Summary: What a wonderful start to our holiday in Costa Rica! The Cariari is a lovely, comfortable place to stay, and Laurie is the most welcoming host we have ever stayed with. She gave us a glass of wine and snack in the evening, and chatted with us for 20 minutes. She also sat with us and the other guests at breakfast. So helpful to get so much information and recommendations about Costa Rica at the start of our holiday. Miriam was friendly and caring too - and prepared a delicious breakfast for the morning with a lot of choice. We would happily stay again. Thank you Laurie and Miriam.

Summary: This has become our go-to place in San Jose. It's near the airport and transportation is available. The people are great hosts, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Summary: The Cariari B&B was like a home away from home. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating when we requested an earlier breakfast. The inn is charming and the grounds are beautiful. There is an incredible roof top deck/lounge area to relax and dine. It is in a perfect location for a stay before or after flying out of San Jose. It was a memorable experience!
