Summary: We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay in Catherine's house. Very quite, wonderful garden in a peaceful surrounding. The house has everything one needs, spacious, well equipped and easy to clean. We holiday in France every year and this was one of the best houses, host and everything that you can expect.

Summary: Gite is on the edge of a housing development but is very private with parking behind a lockable gate and a beautiful garden shared with the hosts. We used the gite as a base to visit numerous places around Normandy. Gite is lovely inside, nice and airy with two sets of patio doors, has a separate modern shower room and toilet. The only slight negative is that there is no oven in the kitchen but a there is a combination microwave. We're not familiar with a microwave combo so it did restrict our cooking options. There is a large shopping centre within a five minute drive.

Summary: A comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage with shops within easy reach. As it was hot we spent most of our afternoons lounging in the sun in the pretty and peaceful garden, being amused by the chickens and geese. Thank you Catherine for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

Summary: We loved the house and the garden. Barentin itself is not very interesting. Rouen is a lovely city.

Summary: We spent 5 enjoyable days in Catherine‘s beautiful and well equipped home. It has a fresh and modern interior and was sparkling clean. We had breakfast and relaxing evenings in the garden and nice company of the owner‘s chickens. Catherine, our host was very nice and helpful (though we didn‘t need any assistance). She lives in the neighbor house on the premises and is always reachable if necessary. Communication with her was excellent. A great experience - we recommend her vacation home and will return! Merçi beaucoup, Catherine!

Summary: Light, bright, immaculate and well appointed. Perfect for the two of us. We were at the bottom of the owners garden next to the pond, the boundaries were made clear so we could enjoy our own space. Both local amenities were close by but also a shopping retail park within a couple of minutes. A very pleasant place to stay.

Summary: We have spent very nice holidays in Barentin. The house is situated very nicely in a large, beautiful garden. Perfect for our son to run about (although we had to prevent him from chasing the chicken). The area is a great location to start day tours across Normandy. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and we felt at ease very quickly. It was a fully enjoyable holiday!
