Summary: We were in town for a weekend of Cowley baseball games. The Charming Chestnust was centrally located, very clean, roomy and well stocked with everything we needed. Rachelle was very attentive and accommodating to all of our needs. The communication and check in/out process was easy. We will definitely book here again for future trips.

Summary: This is our third time staying here over the last three years, i have no complaints. It is always very well stocked with pot, pans ect. Very clean. The AC was great, we always do bring fans with us but we always have fans running at home too. Always stay here when in arkcity.

Summary: Good to have a "place of our own" when we come to town, rather than a hotel room. The kitchen could be better supplied with cooking tools (pots, pans, maybe an mixer) and the AC had a tough time keeping up with the 100+ degree days. We do prefer to get groceries and cook, rather than eat out a lot.

Summary: We loved staying at this adorable, wonderfully restored home. Everything was clean and well thought out. The hosts were so thoughtful providing cookies and a sweet note about our visit. It was within walking distance to a fantastic little coffee shop. My family and I all agreed when we return to the area we are definitely staying here again.

Summary: Beautiful place, very comfortable and clean. The furniture, finishes, amenities and design were thoughtful and high quality. Loved that the beds were comfortable, and bedding was all soft.

Summary: The Charming Chestnut is the perfect place to stay when visiting Ark City. The host, Rachelle, couldn't be more accommodating. All the bedrooms are upstairs along with one full bathroom. The bathroom is a good size and was stocked with everything we needed. The main level was very charming, just as the name says. We enjoyed games with the family around the large dining room table, cooked a build-your-own-tacos for everyone in the well stocked kitchen, and had everything we needed in the laundry room/mud room. The coziness of the home provided the best rest and relaxation between the busyness of family fun. All the beds were comfortable with super soft sheets, and the couches in the living room for those casual moments. We especially enjoyed all the extras. To name just a few: we arrived to a beautiful box of iced sugar cookies decorated like the Charming Chestnut (so cute!), the house was decorated in lovely Christmas charm including a lit tree in the living room, and each bedroom has charger stations with plenty of plugs for USB and standard connectors. Oh, and when I needed to ask the host a question that involved a change in our number of family staying with us, the host replied in like 5 minutes (seriously), and was 100% accommodating! Overall, just a really comfortable, welcoming, and amazing place! Thank you, Rachelle!
