Positive: Location. slept 12 with separate beds. Had some basic essentials available e.g. washing up liquid, loo rolls, welcome pack. plenty of kitchen equipment + range. Sitting room ideal and comfortable for a large group.

Positive: An early Christmas get together for the family was made extra special by stopping at the Chestnuts. Cooking a turkey on an Aga was great fun followed by relaxing in front of the log burner.

Negative: Shame the garden isn't fully enclosed - wereally had to think to find a negative!
