Positive: The Clifden Arms is a cosy; rural pub in aattractive grounds with lots of parking space. Staff very fruendly and helpful. Food overall was excellent - good range of choice. Room for single traveller is plain but perfectly adequate. Comfortable bed.

Negative: Cooked breakfast menu was fine , cereal menu not so good. Coco pops and Weetabix aren't very appealing. Would have liked to see muesli at very least and granola too plus sone fruit and yoghurt.

Positive: Easy to find. Very friendly and efficient staff. Superb food. Quaint, cosy bar. Comfortable beds. Quiet location. Allocated, safe, off-road car parking right outside the room. Very good value for money.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A very cosy bar. The restaurant was very quiet. Efficient service and the food was good.

Negative: The double bed was very short. There was a tiny fridge in the room but it was so noisy we had to unplug it. Our room was in the courtyard and above a utility room. There was constant buzzing from the machines all night. Really disappointing as the pub was in a lovely location.

Summary: Great pub. Wish the room was quieter.
