Positive: Communication was quick and simple, and we were able to check in early. Rooms are basic but adequate. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator you can access, so can self cater. There is a supermarket not far away, and a couple of cafes/restaurants too (we didn't utilise). Breakfast is in a lovely big dining room, and quite okay with numerous options, Access to tea and coffee throughout the day. Parking right outside is free and convenient.

Positive: The hotel is good value with functional rooms and a fantastic view across the water. Although there are no extras in the room, there is a shared kitchenette area for each floor, including a fridge and microwave. The location is very quiet and a short walk to the nearest (only) restaurant in the town, the Bait Shack, which appears to be owned by the same company. A discount voucher was provided for dinner. The buffet breakfast was adequate and what one might expect from a education facility.

Negative: The location was a bit further out than we anticipated but the hotel is whisper quiet with a great aspect. The shower is in the corner of a very small bathroom and shower curtain, meaning the water generally splashes everything else in the bathroom. Only facilities in the room are two glasses and a hairdryer, so very limited.
