Positive: Fantastic view and accommodation was spread out enabling us to self contain our family from older parents, who benefitted from the ground floor en suite. Nicely decorated and well equipped especially for children; felt clean and homely with a lovely enclosed garden which felt safe for the children to be roaming in. No evidence of other users bringing pets, which was great.
Negative: The attic bedroom did get very hot and was difficult for children to sleep but only because we had hot weather, probably would not have been any issue otherwise. We ran out of hot water as didn't realise we needed to alter the programmer but soon sorted once we realised the problem.
Summary: Homely, spacious property in a lovely location and we hugely enjoyed our visit

Negative: Nothing not to like and need this space to say what we did like - The Coach House - Nice! Spacious, comfortable, very welcoming - an unusual location on a working farm - and with wonderful views across the estuary towards Sharpness (unique among holiday properties around Lydney) - great watching the tide flow out and then race back in - look at these photos (two taken with a drone) and be amazed! - and with the added bonus of seeing regular shipping sailing up the canal to Gloucester. Lots and lots of dining/pubs within a few minutes’ drive - or if relaxing 'at home' is more you, then a large, fully equipped kitchen awaits – and then comfortable beds - what more do you need? Ami is the perfect host as well - friendly and 'out of sight' but there if needed. This is instantly a firm favourite - we'll definitely be back!

Positive: people so friendly and couldn t do enough for you. they are in cottage joined on so if needed anything just went nextdoor (like when i had no matches for sons candles on birthday cake) views were breath taking cottage was so comfy with loads of extras. nice walks and friendly horses in field who loved cuddles especially the white one. family round the area came for sons birthday and all wanted to move in perfect holiday, i have mobility issues nice wide doors and downstairs bed room with ensuite shower room would highly reccomend
Negative: that we had to come home, it was just so relaxing could have easily stayed longer was stunning october in the summer must be even more amazing
