Positive: Nice, clean and modern. Well equipped. Hot tub was great. Beds and sofa were comfortable.
Negative: Could have be signed better to make it easier to find at first. Road noise was more than expected, but not excessive.

Positive: Great location, lovely property, good quality equipment in the house, well stocked with crockery and pans. If it was possible to speak to a person at Sykes I would stay here again and also reccommend it to friends and family. Shame!
Negative: Totally impossible to contact Sykes Holidays, online access proved impossible, also by telephone - phone lines only operate 9-5 - Useless if you arrive at a property and have a problem with keys for instance. As I could not access the welcome pack online, on several occasions I had the to need to speak to someone - but unfortunately to no avail. On that basis I would never book another Sykes property. Key fob to gain access and exit from the property was a little temperamental. The garden area for the property was incredibly small and although it is advertised that you can use the hosts garden this is a very private walled garden and is not clear where you are allowed access. Information inside the property including wi fi code was hidden away and hard to find. I would suggest leaving the wifi code on the kitchen table along with house information, also a note informing you what part of the hosts garden is permitted for use. It would also have been very nice to have a small amount of fresh milk - Arriving late, having difficulty with the key fob, not gaining access to wifi we then had to go out again to buy milk not the best start to a short stay. Shame!
Summary: Lovely property, great location, would never book through Sykes Holidays again.

Positive: The location of the cottage was brilliant, in a gorgeous and quiet part of the Cotswolds. Highgrove is just down the road and the cottage is opposite the Westonbirt National Aboretum. The cottage offers every comfort of a small home including Netflix, car parking and the most wonderful hot spa outdoors!
Negative: Nothing, we loved our stay at the cottage.

Positive: It was well kept with very nice amenities. The garden felt like an absolute escape and was so nice to have the picnic blanket and basket to go and spend the afternoon. The fresh eggs from the chickens were also an added bonus! Will 100% be back
