Summary: This place is perfect when you are happy with an isolated rural environment. The hosts are friendly the station is busy (in a station way), and peace and quiet are guaranteed. Summary: We had such a wonderful stay at the cook house with Idyllic ocean views. The house itself was very spacious and had everything we needed. It had wonderful surroundings and was a short ride away for diving. Perfect for a large family or family and friends. We will definitely be back.

Summary: We, a group of 11 people, had a wonderful stay at the Cook House cottage. We stayed just for 1 night (16-Feb-2019) The view from the house is awesome. Two rooms face Pacific ocean and sunrise could be witnessed with minimal effort, right from these rooms (you only just need to wake up before the sunrise). Perfect place to enjoy with family and friends in a quiet place. Compared to other farm stays we stayed earlier, this house looked more contemporary and well maintained, well lighted and airy. The house has a double lounge and can sleep 18 people with options for double/queen beds and bunk beds. There's some board games for the kids and DVDs to watch. There's no internet - that could be a challenge for many people but that's what is expected from farm stays. But without mobile connection that is a bit difficult especially if you are using GPS from phone and/or want to call during emergency. However, there's one thing that one might take into consideration; last 40 km (approx) road is gravel road. Hope this would be get better in future. Overall it is a very nice place to visit. Not so far from Wellington yet so close to the nature. Thanks, Anirban Wellington

Summary: Great size bach. Clean. Well equipped. Excellent for families. Beautiful surroundings. Fun to be able to explore a working farm. Easy walk to beach that’s good for swimming. Interesting walks including to Honeycomb Rock and seal colony. Friendly hosts.
