Summary: Host stopped by once to introduce himself and let us know we could use firewood. Very friendly and not a bother. One darn cricket got into the building and was annoying but all in all the stay was great. Grand kids loved the bunk beds, but they are quite high so would not recommend for very young children.

Summary: We love this quiet, out of the way lodge. This time we brought two of our grandsons and took them fishing on the river. We visited cemeteries to put flowers for relatives and drove around Springfield, where Jack grew up. The lodge is just right, location wise, for what we planned to do. It is very comfortable and clean.
