Sylvan Lake is a 700-acre all sports lake, where you can enjoy jet skis, swimming, fishing, skiing or just boating around the 16 miles of shoreline. There is a nature preserve on The Big Island, accessible by boat with over 2 miles of hiking trails. Gene Stratton-Porter State Memorial Park, Sylvan Cellars Event Center and Mother Mercy Event Center is a short drive away. Summary: David was very easy to communicate and got us booked for a last minute vacation. The cottage is cozy. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the lake where there are park benches to look at the wildlife. We would stay again.

Summary: We absolutely love our stay in the cottage. Communication is always amazing and the neighborhood is quiet with very pleasant neighbors. We enjoy eating at The Sylvan Lake Diner around the corner and plenty of local stores to get anything you may need. We will definitely suggest this beautiful little cottage

Summary: Well, first of all our host David was amazingly kind and very timely in responses. Cottage was a perfect location for us super cute very clean. It was just my husband and I But could have accommodated many more people.
