Positive: Great quiet location with fantastic views, centrally located for day trips around the islands. Well equipped cottage, everything worked. Most essentials provided so only needed to buy food. Villages of Strendur and Saltangará within 10-15 minutes drive for shops/restaurant. The host, Ole, was helpful and easy to contact. Having a washer & dryer was an added bonus.
Negative: A few more hooks / shelves / rails for hanging clothes would have been helpful.
Summary: Great quiet location with fantastic views, centrally located for day trips around the islands.

Positive: Only good thing about the house is view.
Negative: I told the landlord I wanted to pay by card, but he refused and demanded cash. I paid cash as requested and requested an invoice. Despite me asking several times, he only promised to provide an invoice after I gave him positive reviews about the accommodation. I had to ask repeatedly, and I told him I would write the facts. The house has a nice view, but the landlord was very rude.

Positive: This house was so cute! It’s little and cozy.
Negative: The shower had a high wall to step over, so be aware. The stairs can be tricky to get up and down with luggage. But it’s totally worth booking. It was one of our favorite places we have ever rented.

Positive: Location was perfect for visiting different parts of the Faroe Islands. The house was tidy and cozy. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was lovely watching the sheeps and the ducks from the window in the morning. Washing machine and the dryer were very handy. Overall nothing to complain about the house, we very much enjoyed staying there.

Positive: Amazing view in quiet little town. Easy to find and to access. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need. Short drive from the capital city.
Negative: Though the property had everything we needed, I ended up with a severe allergic reaction to something in the house that saw me hospitalized. Despite the amount of antihistamines, the skin rash kept getting worse to a point where we had to check out early and find another accommodation. We still don’t know what exactly caused the reaction, but we do know it was related to the house. Perhaps hidden fungi. Perhaps the excessive amount of perfume used to wash towels and bed linen.. Either way, it cost us two days of illness, missed adventures, as well as a small fortune to relocate and book a hotel with short notice. The landlord didn’t offer any compensation. Needless to say, our idyllic honeymoon didn’t go as planned.
