Positive: We loved everything. The Inn is beautiful and the room was fantastic. The pool is within walking distance and next door to a bar/restaurant that is on-site. I wasnt aware of that but it was not a big deal at all. Stephen was very accommodating and assisted me with booking an excursion during my stay. He offered to prepare us hot meals for breakfast but we chose a quick meal which consisted of homemade granola and yogurt. We would definitely stay there again.
Negative: There was nothing that we didnt like

Positive: Location is 15 minute drive from Cerros, the only seaside Mayan temple city, and 50 yards from the Caribbean. This was the only lodging out of five while visiting Belize that offered breakfast. The owner/proprietor expat has been there 15 years and was a welcome wealth of information on Belize for us at the start of our trip.
Negative: I could have used water shoes to swim at the beach, or maybe it was just getting too dark to find the sandier areas.
Summary: Privat gated resort, good alternative to Corozal for exploring northern Belize.

Positive: Great location overlooking the bay, but you need a car to get around! The owner was wonderful in driving us around. The ferry could get quire busy. If you like quiet ecological stays, this is a great place. Not touristy or overcrowded.
Negative: Road access, need transportation to get around.

Positive: the owners, Stephen and Kimberly really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable in their BNB. Thru them my husband and I got to meet many of their lovely friends which made our experience much more intimate. Kim helped with our last minute plans to visit Mexico nearby and made sure our day there was special. they even had a yoga class which was really nice and the restaurant and pool nearby was great.
Summary: a wonderful intimate experience with great food and accomodations,and especially accomodating owners

Negative: The listing on bookings needs updating the 9.7 is a stretch which my husband and I both agree. It is out of the way and the roads are rough, would not be the easiest place to find on your own.

Positive: Comfortable room. Very nice host. Breakfast included was appreciated. We enjoyed the Friday pizza night on the rooftop and star gazing from up there. Just a few steps from the beach. Recommended!
