Summary: All the staff were lovely. The food was good and the bar was fun. The room was comfortable and quiet although it’s a bit of a maze to get there. Plenty of hot water. Rather creaky bed but okay.

Summary: Staff were helpful and very polite and friendly. The hotel is basic with a straightforward menu but perfect for a stop over on the way to the ferry. Good breakfast, served promptly at our pre-ordered time. Found Newton Stewart a little down at heel, but we didn’t walk very far past the supermarket.

Summary: The hotel was very comfortable and had a lovely homely atmosphere. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We chose to have our meals in the bar and could not fault the food. The staff also coped well with the COVID restrictions. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
