3 Bedroom Cottage in Ivinghoe, Leighton Buzzard

The Dairy is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other.
All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station.
The Dairy is situated on the main courtyard, with an outside sitting area near the front door.
The ground floor comprises an open plan sitting and dining room, with a separate kitchen. The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and dining table with six chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one double and 2 single bedrooms) and a family bathroom. The bathroom includes an over bath power shower.
The property has access to a tennis court which is available to hire, games room and a children`s play area. The Dairy is centrally heated by oil. Internet by Wifi is available and included in the rental.
Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.
We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at The Dairy. Towels and bedding were lovely quality and very comfy. The house was left clean and tidy for us. Ideal situation near our son in Berkhamsted. Nostalgic for us too as we stayed several times in our caravan with our darling dog Charlie. Managed with just the one loo and if anyone got desperate there were camp site ones literally a few seconds away. Could have done with more of an enclosed garden area for our dog. Dishwasher had no salt and rinse aid. Had a takeaway from the Haldi . Delicious as always. Many thanks.

Summary: The team were amazing in their accommodating us - speeding through bathe changeover process between us and the previous guests for us to get us moved in ASAP. It was really appreciated. The dairy itself was pleasant enough, although we loved in on a day it was 30 degrees outside and with large windows covering all of one side of the house - which has full sun - and no real windows to open upstairs “oven” doesn’t cover it! That said, it was a lovely quiet location - away from the noise of the playground and hustle/bustle of campers checking in. In cooler months it wouldn’t have been a problem at all - or if you’re someone who likes the heat more than me!

Summary: A beautiful place to stay,the location is fantastic and the Dairy is very well equipped. The surrounding countryside is stunning and apart from the extreme heat on our visit every thing would have been perfect.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at the Dairy whilst our house was being renovated. Angie & her family made us very welcome. The area is great, and Ivinghoe Beacon is only a half hours walk across the fields. The tea shop in the village sells delicious cakes too.

Summary: This is the second cottage we have stayed in at Town Farm while our house was being repaired. It great for a holiday, but in comparison to The Homestead it is a bit tight for a long term location, and not quite so well equipped. That said, Angie and her family are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Summary: We have been Staying since November, everything is very clean, location is lovely, also very convenient and We have found all staff and family are always very helpful. Any issues are dealt with immediately ( although we haven’t really had any problems at all). I would definitely recommend this place
