Our 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom cottage is very spacious (3200 sq ft) and beautifully decorated, but warm and cozy. The main floor is open concept with lots of room for relaxing and eating together - a great room around a magnificent stone fireplace, a dining room with a wet bar, and a well-stocked eat-in kitchen. A huge deck overlooks the yard and the 170-foot lakefront including multiple beach areas with hard-packed sand. The lake is gradual entry, deep enough at the end of the long dock for diving.
The master bedroom has its own 5-piece ensuite bathroom including a whirlpool tub. A second basement master bedroom also has its own ensuite bathroom. Both levels have an additional 2 bedrooms along with a shared washroom.
There's also a basement games room with ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and a TV-equipped sitting area. Lots of outdoor games are included (volleyball net, horseshoes, ladder ball, etc). You can explore Eagle lake using the provided canoe, paddleboat or four kayaks.
The cottage is winterized and close to great hunting districts and snowmobile trails so ideal for fall and winter getaways. A heated entryway is perfect for all the snowmobile gear. In the winter, accessories are provided for lots of activities including snowshoeing, tubing, and broom ball (tubing hill is 2km away, broom ball requires shovelling an area on the lake). Sometimes the lake freezes smoothly to allow skating, but this is also weather dependent and may require your using the shovels to clear a rink.
Remember that Eagle Lake is a quiet lake, so guests must respect the neighbours on the lake. This includes quiet-time after 11PM, and no use of fireworks at any time. There is a noise monitoring device on site in the upstairs common area and on the deck, so excessive noise will be detected, and there is a security camera at the entrance so additional guests beyond those approved will be detected.

Summary: we have rented this cottage a couple years in a row now and it has not disappointed. the layout is great for our group. 8 adults and 4 kids. there is plenty of dishes etc in the kitchen. the kids big & small love the games room. Thanks again for another great vacation.

Summary: We rented this beautiful cottage for a family long weekend get together. Cottage was super clean had a ton of room (12 of us). the games room was great. Will definitely be on our list of places to try to do again.

Summary: This was our second time staying here, and it did not disappoint. The property is exceptionally well maintained and clean, as it was the last time we stayed here (last year), and since then, there have even been improvements done (deck, kitchen). I am convinced the owner is all about providing a consistently great experience and having repeat guests. I am in!

Summary: Excellent customer service and great cottage! We ran out of propane one night and the cleaner showed up within 15 minutes of our message to the owners. The cottage itself is spacious, secluded and with lots of activities. Our family enjoyed it!

Summary: We had a lovely weekend, Thursday to Monday. It was beautiful weather, beautiful cottage, fishing was great. Enough amenities for all ages to enjoy on the property. No need to look for things to do. We didn't want our weekend to end. Stephen was great, understanding and accommodating. Definitely a winner cottage to go too.

Summary: We (party of seven) spent four days at this property in mid-Septemeber 2020. We just got back, and the jury is out: the unanimous opinion is that it exceeded our expectations and the pictures don't do its justice. Stephen impressed me with the level of detailed instructions and the phone call before us getting there. He had everything ready for us. As for the property, it was spotless, comfortable, very spacious with an excellent layout. It is situated on a nice piece of waterfront land in a tranquil area of Eagle Lake. We would definitely go back again!

Summary: Clean, spacious and well kept cottage with plenty of activities (we really enjoyed use of the kayaks and games room) . It was great having the dock plus the sandy shallow entrance. Owners are very responsive and quick to reply.
