Welcome to The Farm at Schulenburg! This property encompasses everything you could want in a relaxing, country getaway! Escape the hustle and bustle of the big city at this luxurious remote location. The Farm at Schulenburg is located on 112 rolling acres of beautiful live oaks and manicured farmland. The backyard alone sets this unique property apart from all others. The pool and hot-tub offers guests plenty of relaxation after a long day on the farm. There is an outdoor kitchen with propane grill and additional bar seating. The huge oak trees offer plenty of shade for backyard fun.
The house can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The master bedroom/bath has a queen bed, jacuzzi tub, separate standing shower, and a walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 offers a queen size bed and bedroom 3 has an additional queen size bed. The shared bath located between the 2 guest bedrooms features a shower/tub combo and large linen closet. The bunk room has 3 custom built bunk beds which can comfortably accommodate 6. Four additional sofas in the living room and bunk room could easily be utilized as additional sleeping spaces. The kitchen offers bar seating and opens up to the living room which is the ideal open concept living space. Located just off the kitchen is a 1/2 bath and washroom with a large capacity washer and 2 dryers. Wi-Fi, Direct TV, and boosted cell service are available.
There is a 12-acre private lake stocked with bass, catfish, and perch with multiple automatic fish feeders and a newly constructed fishing pier. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing poles for catch and release. Enjoy viewing the deer and wildlife while relaxing in the pool or hot tub. This is an ideal property for families, Men, Women, or couples retreat. Located near several local wineries and only about 40 minutes from Round Top, makes for an ideal woman’s weekend. We highly recommend guests enjoying a tour of the beautiful painted churches of Fayette County.
For those using one of the nearby Painted Churches for their wedding, The Farm at Schulenburg makes for an ideal location for wedding parties to congregate during wedding weekend festivities. Other special events at the property could include family reunions, corporate retreats, Mother/Daughter or Father/Son getaways. Summary: This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!

Summary: What a great place for some quality family time. It was my wife's birthday and our two kids and two grandkids joined us for a weekend of fun at the farm. We had such a good time! The place was as advertised! Beautiful and loaded with lots of fun things to do. We fished, we hiked and we used the hot tub (the weather was not conducive to using the swimming pool, chilly with a gusting north breeze). The kitchen was great and the bedrooms were great! My 7 year-old granddaughter loved the bunk room! Everyone caught fish and enjoyed the views over the lake at sunset! What a great place! I highly recommend it!!

Summary: The property was amazing! The trees are well over a hundred years old and so majestic! The house was beautiful and clean. Our group from church came out for our annual women's retreat to visit the Painted Churches and see the bluebonnets. It was not a disappointment. The only concern we had was we ran out of paper goods after the first day, toilet paper and paper towels. So we had to make a trip to the store. If it is not supplied, we would have brought our own. Other than that, a great experience. Thanks, Kim

Summary: This place was amazing. The house was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Pool/hot tub were wonderful. The fishing was fantastic. The bunk room was great for the kids. The bluebonnets were everywhere!!! We all had a great time!!

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at this house. Although it was too cold to use the pool we were able to take advantage of the hot tub on the cold nights in December. The lake and surrounding property was amazing.

Summary: Everything about this vacation was awesome. Check-in was simple, & communication with the owner was extremely quick. The house was very clean & looked great. There is a lot of room to do pretty much anything you want. The view at the lake at sunset was beautiful & relaxing. The grill & pool is where our group hung out the most and that was a good time. The Bluetooth speaker on the patio was a little difficult to figure out how to turn on, but we ended up figuring it out & that was great to use. Overall, this trip & house was one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend a vacation or just a weekend getaway here with some friends, you wouldn’t regret it!
