The Farm House is located 2.5 miles from downtown Cullman, AL and 5 miles from I-65. A quick trip to a variety of restaurants, shopping, events, and entertainment. The house sits on a 20 acre working farm. Spacious front and back porch invite guests to unwind and relax. Enjoy nature then move inside to a comfortable, cozy home. Guests may use 2 stall horse barn and paddock. Space for parking trailers and boats. The farm is an excellent place for work, play and relaxing during your visit.
The space
The master bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. Bedroom #3 has a bunk bed with single mattresses and another single bed.
Living room for seating: sofa, rocking chair and two other chairs along with a deacon bench. Living room entertainment consists of tv, books, and several games.
The kitchen has gas stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dish washer, drip coffee maker. Small appliances include hand mixer, blender, hand chopper and toaster. Plenty of utensils for cooking and eating in. Plates, bowls cups and mason jars for drinking glasses. Kitchen has a table seating for 6. Spacious Bathroom has a claw foot soaking tub and walk in shower. Utility room has washer/dryer, full size ironing board and iron. Front and back porches are perfect for relaxing anytime of the day. Back yard has a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, string lights and gas grill. The outhouse has a flushing toilet, sink and outdoor shower.

Guest are welcomed in the house, front and back yards a walk to the pond. If needed, guests may use the two stall horse barn and paddock. And extra parking areas for trailered boats.

Summary: I'm not over exaggerating when I say that my family and I almost felt grief leaving the 'farm house'. Warmth and love permeates every space of this beautiful home. From the moment we set foot in the door we knew that this wasn't just a VRBO, it was a full expression of the owner's mission to give a southern hospitality experience. We just can't say enough. The property (full of lightening bugs and song birds) was inspiring, the house was a mix of time-past and modern comfort, the table was set with homemade cookies and lemonade when we arrived...I could go on. 10 stars. Never had VRBO experience quite like this.

Summary: Absolutely the best experience! Everything was beyond expectations. The owner is most thoughtful person, with impeccable taste and ability to make you feel most welcome. I am sure we will be staying in this farm house again. Thank you very much for the cookies, banana bread and lemonade, they were delicious treats.

Summary: We loved the space...homey and comfortable. A great place to relax after a busy day. It had all the comforts of being home wth fantastic porches to relax. Loved the views from the front and back porches. Host was great and very responsive.

Summary: We stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience! Charming, comfortable and extremely clean home. You are near Cullman, but the property has a very private feel. We enjoyed this home so much that we recommended it to my parents and they are staying there later this month. Owner goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Summary: We stayed at The Farm House during Christmas to see our family before we moved overseas. The house was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The host decorated for the holiday, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Fresh baked cookies and a pitcher of lemonade were waiting for us along with a nice personal note. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were all comfortable for our stay. The fire pit was a favorite for us to gather round and enjoy. Also, proximity to Cullman was excellent for us since we were visiting family. We were able to get to anywhere we needed within 10-15 minutes. We will definitely be back to stay at The Farm House the next time we visit Cullman.

Summary: This is a wonderful place in the country but not too far from town. Inside and outside very nostalgic of times gone by. But comfortably and thoughtfully updated for the present. Private with two sweet porches to enjoy the farm life around you. Great yard for kids to romp. A slow down-and-breathe-the air respite.
