Positive: Excellent location. Very friendly staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable.the shared kitchen and bathroom were of exceptional quality.

Negative: The incredibly loud music from the DJ in the bar lasted until 0200. You expect some noise when booking a room above a pub but this was floor shakingly loud.

Positive: The rooms are very individually and originally furnished. There is a communal kitchen that meets all needs. And a pub right in the house. There are karaoke evenings. What more could you want?

Negative: Sometimes it gets a bit louder in the evening... but then it's best to visit the pub!

Summary: We had a lot of fun in The Feathers and Ruthin, very friendly people.

Positive: It was absolutely SPOTLESS & all the decor was modern & kept up to date. We didn’t expect much, as it was on the cheaper side of the area, but it was 5 star standard. The room was fair sized with a bed & dressing table. It was noisy until 1pm but we stayed on a Saturday and they did warn us about this on the booking, so that was fine. The toilet was shared, but again, immaculately clean. The location was perfect, as we attended a wedding at Ruthin Castle & it was a 5min walk. There were some lovely cafes, pubs and shops nearby.

Negative: We liked everything for the price!

Summary: A great, cheap stay!
