Positive: Modern apartments, beautiful view of the ocean.

Negative: When we arrived the apartment was not as listed. It was a studio and did not have a separate livingroom area as written in the description. The onsite staff blamed Booking for the misrepresentation. We required a larger space, and that was not availble for the first 3 nights of our stay. We were able to move apartments on the 4th night of our week long stay, but were charged an addtional fee by the onsite staff. Booking customer service was also non-responsive when I contacted them for assistance during the check-in process. Not a very good start to our stay to say the least.

Positive: The self check-in service and proximity to convenient stores nearby. Lovely view.

Negative: Their Booking.com ad was misleading. It said it’s a double room and even showed picture of two rooms under the room I selected. When we arrived, there was only one room. One of our tall family members had to sleep on the couch. There were only face towels. International travels don’t always carry towels as it adds unnecessary weight…especially because most hotels or Airbnb’s offer towels. Plus heads with at least one USB port is essential.

Summary: Not bad…but I wouldn’t do it again.

Positive: The apartment was very well equipped with state of the art equipment. Everything was new and the fridge was exceptionally huge and functional. The view I had was to die for as it opens out to the Bay Area and the night lights of the city and highway was just a treat every evening. The location is right smack in the middle of many restaurants, Wyndham hotel and the Songdo cable car station and beach, so there is definitely no lacking of food and recreation. The nearby convenience stores and supermarkets are also well stocked and have really pleasant attendants serving them.

Negative: Perhaps the location of the apartment can be more specific when the host releases the check in information. It was rather confusing for the taxi driver when I showed him the address given in Booking and he brought me to the Cable Car station instead. The check in information should also include a picture of the main door into the the apartment lobby that the guest is to use as there are several blocks in the estate that can confuse first time visitors.
