Summary: Excellent friendly and accommodating staff - beautiful setting and building - rooms need abit of a refurb as tired and shabby but considering the place has just been taken over by a couple just about to embark on the project can't really complain. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back

Summary: Perfect for what we needed. Made to feel very welcome and room was clean, comfortable and a good size for the family. So peaceful and lovely location.

Summary: What a lovely hotel with amazing hosts. It's worth pointing out that it is being updated and as such right now is missing a few "creature comforts" such as TVs and WiFi, but the comfort and cleanliness cannot be faulted and the hosts are amazing and friendly. The breakfast is to die for with more than enough high quality local produce. We will definitely be back.

Summary: This lovely old pub in a village of honey-coloured stone was recently taken over by young couple, with wonderful help from their whole family. The staff were very friendly and helpful Delicious dinner the night before, (extra of course) , great breakfast (included). Bed very comfortable, room furniture adequate (though no wardrobe or towel rail - didn't matter!) . We stayed on a Friday night, and there was a live band which we hadn't known about. They actually very good - but VERY loud; (the speakers were ENORMOUs for the size of the room) Not a problem though not we expected from a tiny village pub. And we hadn't realised they would play until 2 a.m.- directly under the guest bedrooms!. We found this happens every Friday - different bands of course - and the pub has a licence to serve alcohol until 2 a.m. If we'd known how long the band would play for, we might have chosen to stay elsewhere. But it's a lovely place, and we loved the friendly atmosphere. We would come back - but maybe not on a Friday!
