Positive: We really enjoyed our peaceful stay in The Folly. The bungalow was so clean and fresh and well set up with kitchen needs including some food staples, food wraps, etc as well as breakfast items such as muffins, eggs and fruit. The beds were very comfortable, and there were a variety of pillows. Good block out blinds, wifi and plenty of power points. As well as all the listed facilities, extra blankets, bed linen and towels were provided. Our host Mary was very helpful and easily contactable. The Glenorie shops are just a few minutes drive away and include Woolworths and the Glenorie Bakery.

Positive: Very convenient for our purpose to be close to family. Beautiful setting. Welcoming and comfortable, clean and neat accommodation, with all one needs.
Negative: We really enjoyed our stay and cannot fault anything apart from the noise from the party next door until 3 am, which put the host in a difficult position to us, her guests and herself as owner, manager and (good) neighbour. The hosts kind offers of alternative accommodation and presenting earplugs, were much appreciated. However, the neighbours hosting the party, were both unfair to the host, their neighbours, and us, the guests. The hours of the party noise was illegal according to NSW law. Period. Their notifying the police didn’t make it legal to go beyond the lawful hours. They really put the host and guests on the spot and in a difficult position. We do however, didn’t feel it was up to us as guests to file a complaint, which we didn’t. We felt it was the responsibility of the owner and host to acquaint themselves of the legalities and make clear to the neighbours that the hours of their noisy party fell outside the legal limits and by notifying the police doesn’t make all hours suddenly acceptable.
Summary: It would have been perfect, apart from the situation that did put a damper on it.

Positive: Everything needed was there. Host was welcoming. Was used as the night before wedding to accommodate bride, mother & father of bride, and in the morning for dressing, makeup, hair and photography. Space in the morning was large enough for makeup artist, two hairdressers, five bridesmaids, photographers and mother & father of bride to get ready for wedding. Plenty of room for cars.
Negative: Nothing to complain about.

Positive: Cute little cottage style home with easy parking. Nice breakfast hamper provided with staples making it convenient in mornings.
Negative: Cleaning could be a bit more thorough as the floors was still dusty and I spotted a few dead bugs around. It would have be ideal if there was an additional fan as it was hot nights we had to leave one of the bedroom door open to cool it down from living AC.
