Summary: Beautiful property in the scenic Edgartown. Very attentive staff. On-site parking was great and conveniently located in walkable distance to the ceter of town and the local Stop n Shop.

Summary: Loved every minute of our stay at this property. We would highly recommend it and will be back. If you can, get the single cottage option in the back of the property but any room would be great here.

Summary: There are no full time staff onsite. The hotel across the street manages it, so if need something they come across the street. For example, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were missing in the shower, so I contacted them through the One Key app and they quickly responded and came over to put in the missing bottles. Room is rather small with no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker, as these are all located in the nice and spacious common room downstairs. OK selection of TV channels, except the NESN channel was listed as “not available” which means I missed a Red Sox game. Fans beware!

Summary: A nice centrally located hotel. The app was a little cumbersome to use and get into the hotel with. I am all for a self check in and check out but made it tough if you had any issue to not have anyone onsite. If there were issues you had to walk across the street to the sister hotel. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Room was very clean. We had an issue with our clicker and were offered to move rooms since it couldn't be fixed. We declined since we only had another night but very nice to have them accommodate us if there was an issue. The staff we did interact with was so nice and friendly and super helpful. Nice spot and they held our bags after checkout.

Summary: We just spent 4 nights at The Franklin as we had also stayed here last Spring. What a difference a year makes. We asked to be in a larger queen than we were last year and we were told that was not a problem (multiple times) when we arrived we were told that the entire hotel was booked (as we were prepared to upgrade to a king room) the woman behind the desk told us that she was moving us to room 8, a larger queen as that is the one she would stay in. When we finally were able to get in out room, we were actually in 11 and it was a way smaller room than last year. The door to our room would not fully close all the way so it rattled every time someone else open a door or when the wind blew, this went on all night long. There also seem to be people actually living full time at the hotel. Each day two women would cook a full meal out of the back of a pick up truck in the parking lot and then bring it into the common area to serve the 15 or so that would come to eat. The last night there seemed to be a party in the common area and they were very loud. We had wanted our friends to come to the hotel and have drinks and cheese and crackers with us, but since there were meals being served at lunch and dinner everyday, that was impossible to do. There was raw meat and other grocery items that took up the entire common area refrigerator and were were unable to keep anything in the fridge (a few cheeses and dip) that we had planned to do (that we had done the year before), so we had to k
