The Garden Apartment, set in the owner’s ground, with a private field with walking trails ideal for dog walking, and boasts stunning views across open Cornish countryside and is very close to the dramatic North Coast. The area is well served with several golf clubs, such as Trevose, Constantine and Newquay all within 5 miles. An off road cycle trail that meanders across Goss Moor and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is easily reached and bike hire can be booked nearby.
Padstow is easily reached along the coastal road. Fishing trips, boat trips and cycling or walking along the Camel Trail are all available in this quaint fishing village made popular by TV chef Rick Stein.
Newquay’s famous surfing beaches are within 5 miles. Watergate bay can be found 4 miles away where there is an extreme sports academy offering such activities as kite surfing, wind surfing and many extreme sports.
Ideally situated for visiting attractions such as the Eden Project, Lost Gardens and Heligan and Bodmin Moor. Truro, the Capital of Cornwall, is within 15 miles and provides shopping, a theatre, museum and restaurants. Summary: A wonderfull cottage in the middle of cornwall so no matter where you are going you are in traveling distance. The cottage was fully equipped and clean with everthing you could ask for. I picked this cottage because it was dog freindly and it was perfect there was a field just across from it to take Charlie on. Summary: Very clean centrally located spacious property with good access to both the North and South coasts of Cornwall. Very private and secluded property next door to owners property with extensive views. The pictures in the listing very accurately portray what is provided. There are no shops or pubs within walking distance so if this is important to you think again, but as a great base to explore Cornwall this could not be beaten. Summary: had a lovely three days at the Garden apartment. Very quiet and relaxing, lovely grounds although not gated so had to be careful with dog. Very clean, everything you could want was provided. Nice people not intrusive and we would definitely like to go back. Narrow but quite busy lanes make walking difficult with dog so mostly drove rather than walked from property. Summary: Everything you could possibly want was there. For dog owners there is a meadow and large area to explore but if not kept an eye on, a dog could wander out onto the road so beware of that. Otherwise a lovely location for a holiday and a very welcoming host is on hand if need be. Hope to re-visit.
