Summary: This historic home is right near adorable downtown McCook. The size of the house is truly as big as it looks from the pictures. The house is 110 years old, so some stairs are a tad creeky or steep, and again, IT IS 110 years old, but it is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen seemed to have most everything one would need to prepare a large meal and there is plenty of space for everyone to eat. We were a party of 6 that stayed in 3 separate bedrooms. This home provided so much more than 3 separate hotel rooms and most likely at a better price. 3 couples could stay on their own floor of the house with their own bathroom. It is a great place to stay in McCook, NE!

Summary: We can’t say enough good things about the host and this wonderful historic house we were blessed in being allowed to borrow for a few days. Our favorite part of the house was the wrap around front porch and the yard. The inside space was more than enough to comfortably accommodate our family reunion. Even if you are not from McCook Nebraska, come and visit and stay here. Bring your entire family. Watch your young children play in the yard while you sip a drink on the porch and the others play card and board games inside. It’s like going back in time. Thanks for giving us memories we will cherish the rest of our lives.

Summary: Everything was so wonderful. Absolutely no issues. Such a perfect place for a large family gathering. A historic grand house that is renovated in all the right places.
