Positive: Had most of the things needed for a short stay, is set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were helpful. It has a very comfortable and clean bed for a good nights sleep.
Negative: Unfortunately the heating wasn’t working, a member of staff at did come and get it started when we arrived but it stopped working again and the barn was really cold. The door hasn’t got a blind on it so once the sun comes up it wakes you up. Overall the place needs a little TLC and a deep clean.
Summary: Beautiful short stay.

Positive: Excellent location, the Gate House Barn was such a surprise, excellent, and the Peacocks just topped a brilliant weekend off a treat, thanks guys.
Negative: Shower was a bit of a battle to get working right, but certainly didn't affect our stay, minor detail.
Summary: Excellent accommodation, excellent location for everything and brilliant friendly host, thanks.

Positive: The barn/cabin was very spacious with a beautiful view outside the window! The rooms were updated and kitchen was equipped with dishes, pots, pans, glasses. Reception is friendly and helpful. The farm is delightful and in a great area within the speak District. There are a couple pubs within walking distance.
Negative: The cell reception in the area is almost non existent so using sat nav was a bit challenging at times. There’s no information about wifi in the room, so I had to go back to reception where they gave me the password.

Positive: Very quiet location, cozy everything you could want. Other guests noisy on Sat night, sat outside. Good caravan pitches and tent pitches, plenty of facilities. Great for the area we needed to be in. Shop on site for any foods items you may have forgotten.
Negative: Room dark, shame we didn't have a large Velux roof light.
