Positive: Great location from which to access downtown Evanston. Easy and free onsite parking. Good value for a suite. It's an odd building, was originally an elder care facility that closed during Covid, and was reengineered to become a hotel. Conversion was done well. We will likely stay there again.

Positive: Clean, nice decor in the lobby, helpful staff.
Negative: Limited breakfast hours (0800-1100), no coffee or tea available earlier. No linens in the room for the pull-out couch—had to go back the the lobby to get them. Very small room (bathroom door hits the bed, have to move a chair to walk around to the other side). This was a king bed suite.
Summary: Nice but overpriced for the facilities and room size.

Negative: I placed an order on July 14 for breakfast to go in the morning of July 16. The lady on duty put my order in a post-it note for her colleague, but the guy who was on duty morning of July 16 was too busy surfing on the internet (yes every time I looked and he is browsing) and did not check the note. I came to pick up my breakfast on my way to the airport. No breakfast!

Positive: The hotel was beaufitul and had a character charm to it. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and more than we expected! We highly enjoyed the light on the bathroom mirror!

Positive: Breakfast was good. Loved the fresh fruit and yogurt. Close walk to the lake. Great location for college graduation. Only suggestion is to have an extra blanket on the beds
Negative: No tissue in the bathroom. Needed an extra blanket on the bed. Body wash stinks. Glad we brought our own.
