Positive: The hotel is very good in almost all aspects. The staff is very friendly, they go over their heads to make you feel comfortable - they arrange everything you need, greet you with tea & cookies. The location is very good, across the bridge from the Egyptian Bazaar, 5 min away by foot from the Galata Tower, 10 min away by foot from metro and bus stations. Tram 1, which takes you to all classical touristic places, is 20 min away by foot. The rooms and common spaces are clean, nicely decorated and the rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfast is different every day and is served on the roof terrace.

Negative: The rooms facing the street are noisy, but that is not the hotel's fault - traffic in Istanbul is very intense at all times of the day and night.

Positive: Whenever you book a new hotel for a 7-night stay, you always have some fear of things going wrong, but I can only say that I couldn't have chosen better! This hotel fits exactly what we were looking for ✨️ To start its location: in Beyoğlu, on a lively avenue, just two blocks from Şişhane station, and 10 min-walk from Galata Bridge. We got a room on the second floor -on request, with a nice view, Bosphorus included- and there was no noise filtering from the outside, so it was perfect to sleep. The room was really nice, neat, with everything we needed; enough room for our luggage; the mattresses and pillows so comfortable. The cleaning guys were always asking us if everything was ok or if we needed something. The breakfast was awesome: the typical Turkish kahvaltı served at the rooftop with such a view! It's complete, various, nutritious and abundant, and what we appreciated most was the freshness and quality of the products, specially the homemade yogurt and jams. We have breakfast there everyday but never got tired with it; on the contrary, we started our day deliciously and full of energy to explore the city. And last but for sure the most important: the staff 😍! Nothing could've gone well without its nice people. All of them -from the cleaning guys to the owners- were really welcoming, attentive and always there to help, solve any need and suggest activities. Our special thanks to Şahin and Fatih from front desk: without Şahin's suggestions we couldn't have moved so easily around the city! And thanks to Fatih (with whom we enjoy a nice evening talk at the terrace) we ate at one of the best restaurants in Galata. Also thanks to Habibe, so kind during breakfast and patient when I tried to speak in Turkish 🤭; thanks to the boys in room service at night shift, and thanks to the owners for their kindness and interest in all the guests. We keep all of them in our hearts and hope we stay there back soon!

Negative: Nothing. We enjoy absolutely everything! 😍 Maybe just some suggestions: - a night light over the bed so one can read 📚 while the main lights are off; - maybe serving at least one traditional bread, like simit? It would match greatly your awesome breakfast! That's all...ahhhh.. and a cat 🐈... maybe a cat in the hotel would be perfect too ☺️☺️☺️

Summary: I couldn't have chosen better! The ideal hotel even for a long stay!

Positive: - The breakfast was a mixture of Turkish Breakfast and other non-Turkish options. More than one items were switched up daily, so you don't eat exactly the same thing every day. - The staff was friendly and always available, even did more than what their job required. - The hotel was not far from the Bosphorus or Iskitlaar Street! I enjoyed my night walks there. - Spacious, cosy and looked exactly as presented in the pictures - Easy access to bus stops and taxis - The terrace (also the breakfast area) had an amazing view. - The place was clean.

The staff were consistently helpful and professional, and the location couldn’t be better – just a short walk from many fantastic restaurants and cafés. Our room was stylish and fresh, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the top floor with a lovely view. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a city getaway in the heart of Istanbul. Despite being near a busy street, the noise doesn’t carry inside, so you can rest peacefully.

Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Gift Hotel in Istanbul, and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is stylish and beautiful, with comfortable beds and a helpful staff. They were very accommodating to my request for twin beds, and they even arranged a taxi to the airport for me at a fair price. The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of all the main tourist spots and trendy districts. The breakfast was also delicious, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I would highly recommend The Gift Hotel to anyone staying in Istanbul. It is a great value for the price, and you will be sure to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
