Positive: Our accommodation was clean and fresh. Bed linen, pillows and duvet were all perfectly clean and well presented. As were the towels, which were lovely. Extra little welcome items like wine and bottled water were nice touches. Currently just three caravans on site plus The Farmhouse which is also let out to guests. The grounds consist of 15 acres which you are welcome to walk around. There is a small lake, away from the accommodation, where fishing enthusiasts guests are welcome to fish...fish must be returned to the lake. Lovely woodland area and an orchard where guests are welcome to pick apples/ plums, harvest permitting. The plums were delicious. Apples not ready but another nice touch were the tubs to collect in. It is interesting to walk about the grounds where the original caravan site was and quite nostalgic to see the old buildings and original lamps. There is no shop on site but a Morrison's local at the nearby garage. The site is secure and set back from the road. If you are looking for some peace, tranquility and somewhere to relax and chill out..this is for you. I almost don't want to share. Oh and if you have a dog, they are welcome too. Our girl loved her stay and enjoyed about 5/6 walks a day, around the grounds. Obviously you must clean up after them as any decent owner does.
Negative: It was pouring with rain when we arrived. The 'Main' office waa shut and we had a problem with the keysafe. Unaware that the farmhouse waa also rented out to guests, we knocked on the door. The guest came out and helped us! Initial disappointment on opening the caravan door as the carpet was quite stained .The disappointment soon went away when we saw how clean and fresh the rest of the place was. Found the tv quite difficult to work out as was the Dab radio. No instructions around. No glasses for wine..I went and bought a couple. Lack of ovenware. Just a grill tray. No recycling bags..I left all ours in carrier bags when we left. However, none of this would put us off rebooking and we were sad to leave.

Positive: Beautiful views peaceful lovely caravan very clean beds comfortable towels provided also wine water biscuits travel toothbrush and tooth paste t towels kitchen towels torches outdoor games board games washing line use of bikes for adults and children including helmets . We all felt very safe check-in was easy absolutely loved the outside fields lake and small orchard with buckets provided to pick your own apples my dog loved it would also be great for children to play and run etc. We would definitely stay again also lovely decking area with chairs etc wish we could have stayed longer also beds were made up good quality . Had a great stay
Negative: Carpets were a little stained aslo stated property had a washing machine (It doesnt) had to ask for cutlery which was provided very quick just a couple of little things but these didn't spoil our stay
