The Granary, known as Ysgubor in Welsh, is a lovely two-bedroom holiday farm cottage surrounded by nature, offering a perfect escape to unwind.
The cottage offers a cosy and inviting space, decorated with solid wood furniture and wood flooring throughout. The space downstairs flows seamlessly through the living room into the kitchen diner, where the warm morning sun bursts through the windows. The living room is furnished with a large L-shaped leather sofa, an armchair, and a Smart TV, providing a comfortable spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The dining table comfortably seats up to six guests, with the option to spill out into the enclosed patio area for al fresco summer dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a picnic for the beach.
Upstairs, features skylights in every room, allowing natural light to flood in and offering stunning views of the countryside. There are two bedrooms: one double and one triple room with three single beds. All bedrooms are spacious and well-presented, with ample room for a travel cot if you are staying with toddlers. The shower room includes a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail.

Summary: Enjoyed our dog friendly holiday at the granary in Anglesey. The area around our accomodation was lovely and peaceful, farmland and not too far from the beach at Rossneiger. We had everything we needed in the cottage, all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery and a nice welcome tray plus a few treats for our dog too. The owner was really pleasant and welcoming, we were happy with everything from the comfy beds to the enclosed small rear garden, safe for the dog. You could also exercise your dog in the field opposite and there where lots of lovely walks around the area. It was a good base to explore all the island, just a short drive from the Express way. We would deffinatly visit the property again. We was lucky with the weather especially at the time of year we visited but it was made more comfortable as the accommodation was nice, warm and homely.

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights over new year, the house itself is fine, the electric panel heaters are really good, the washing machine/dryer is good, the microwave needs replacing as the paint inside the door has flaked off and is rusty, the bowls look old and are all cracked, bed is comfortable ( only used the double, well 3/4) the shower is useless, not hot and zero pressure, location is OK, nice walk into Rhosneigr, my wife had to hoover all downstairs because of dog hairs everywhere, like tumbleweed, while i washed cutlery, plates and cups as they were either stained or felt greasy, it was certainly left cleaner than we found it, we have stayed in many properties using Anglesey holiday lettings but this one was a bit of a let down.

Summary: Overall we had a good stay but had a few minor issues which we didn't report at the time as we arrived on Boxing day just for a few days so wasn't worth it and they weren't major problems. The accomodation looks like it was cleaned a while before we arrived as there were a few dead flies and even a dead wasp ( in Dec? ) on the bed. The microwave was rusty and a baking tray in the oven had cremated old food stuck solid on it. The settee seat gaps had lots of old dog hair & fluff encrusted down there. The fridge was way too small for the amount of people it should serve. AHL said all lets have something festive done for Xmas and the other cottages on the lot had trees but ours didn't so we were a bit disappointed ( maybe as we arrived Boxing day? ) On a more positive note the beds were comfy, the oven was easy to use and the heaters warmed the whole place really quickly. The location down a track made it really peaceful.

Summary: What a beautiful cottage and location. The table in the yard at the back was brilliant, on the last night we even got to watch the jets on training while having our dinner, most nights we watched the bats flying around too. Everything you could need for your stay, location is close to so many of our favourite places in Anglesey. Decorated beautifully and very welcoming with milk and biscuits provided on arrival, hand wash, washing up liquid, cleaning spray, everything was included. The only slight negative is the cleanliness, the vacuum smells really bad when you turn it on, the mop left more bits on the floor than cleaning it and odds bit around the property could do with a bit more deeper clean. It wouldn’t stop us returning though, we’ll be back next summer. What a lovely place to stay and very reasonable for the money we paid.

Summary: Lovely cottage, close to Rhosneigr- walking distance about 30minutes. Shower not the greatest but well good enough. Could do with more patio furniture- loungers perhaps. Spotlessly clean, brilliant peaceful cottage. Would defo return.

Summary: Arrived at the granary for the for the allocation time of 4pm. Noticed straight away that the cottage had not been cleaned ready for our arrival (pots on the draining board, beds stripped and bedding and towels in the bathroom etc) my husband started to hoover downstairs as there was dog hair. I phoned housekeeping who said that they would send someone round asap. The cleaner was on site really quickly which was great although we had to leave the property so she could clean which wasn’t the best after traveling 3.5 hours. Although this wasn’t a great start to our break, it was rectified straight away. The cottage was lovely and spacious and a great base to explore the lovely island of Anglesey. Wi-Fi was great and had no problems with signal either. Had a great stay and would 100% stay again!

Summary: Just off the main road down a single concrete track. The cottage had all that we needed for our stay. It warmed up quickly when the heaters were switched on so perfect for an off season break. A short drive takes you to some nice beaches, pubs and restaurants.

Summary: We had a very good stay at the Granary, the facilities are very good and the welcome pack was an excellent idea. It is a great place to stay as a base for seeing the sights of Anglesey. Would certainly stay here again. One small point to note, in the bedrooms provide hooks on back of doors to hang clothes / towels on.
