The Granary, known as Ysgubor in Welsh, is a lovely two-bedroom holiday farm cottage surrounded by nature, offering a perfect escape to unwind.
The cottage offers a cosy and inviting space, decorated with solid wood furniture and wood flooring throughout. The space downstairs flows seamlessly through the living room into the kitchen diner, where the warm morning sun bursts through the windows. The living room is furnished with a large L-shaped leather sofa, an armchair, and a Smart TV, providing a comfortable spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The dining table comfortably seats up to six guests, with the option to spill out into the enclosed patio area for al fresco summer dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a picnic for the beach.
Upstairs, features skylights in every room, allowing natural light to flood in and offering stunning views of the countryside. There are two bedrooms: one double and one triple room with three single beds. All bedrooms are spacious and well-presented, with ample room for a travel cot if you are staying with toddlers. The shower room includes a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail.
For larger groups or family holidays, consider renting The Granary together with Y Stabl, our adjacent cottage. These two lovely cottages allow you to come together for meals and movie nights, while also providing separate spaces to relax and unwind.
Experience the thrill of aviation! During your stay, you might catch the occasional fighter jet display from RAF Valley, a beloved feature of Anglesey. Flights occur on weekdays during working hours. Although jets don't fly directly overhead, sounds can be heard more clearly with open doors or windows. It's part of the local charm and adds to the adventurous spirit of your visit.
Internet is a free amenity, however due to our unique location on Anglesey, we cannot always guarantee its performance or availability. We appreciate your understanding if this service becomes unavailable during your stay, as compensation cannot be offered.

Summary: Nice peaceful location and would stay here again. Family 2 adults and 2 kids plus dog. Would be a bit cramped with 5. House was nice and clean and had most things needed. 10 minute walk to shop through sheep field over a bridge style which was tricky with a dog. Other walk from the house south towards beaches and along the main road. Field opposite good for kids to play football and dog to sniff around. Good arrival info provided. Good WiFi. Plenty of towels. Even better ifs….bigger fridge freezer as it’s tiny for stays longer than a night! House is all electric so shower small and a dribble of water but it works ok. Beds too soft for me but that’s subjective so may be fine for others. You will stub your toes regularly on the kitchen bench!

Summary: Thank you we had a very relaxing 2 week break at the Granary. We found it to be in a perfect location for us to visit many of the beaches and stunning landscapes of Anglesey. If we had any queries then they were promptly dealt with by Anglesey Holiday Lettings even when we had to call on a Saturday afternoon. The farmer was very helpful at offering assistance when we had a tyre blow out!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at The Granary. Great location for us attending a weekend motorsport event at Trac Mon. The cottage is of a generous size, spotlessly clean and good facilities. An excellent welcome pack greeted us, which was most appreciated as we had forgotten to pick up milk on our way! Yes, the property is on the flight path to RAF Valley. But in all honesty, it's hardly a big deal. You get fast RAF jets all round that area of north Wales anyway. The trains running past, you barely hear. And yes, you can hear a bit of the motor racing if there is anything going on at Trac Mon. It really didn't bother us. It really is a beautiful location. Excellent, well paved driveway to the properties as well. Just one very minor comment, for a property that sleeps 5 people, the fridge/freezer is a tad on the small side. We only had 3 guests for 4 nights, so just about coped. We would not hesitate in booking again. Thank you for the stay!

Summary: Our family of five had a lovely stay at this great cottage. It was clean, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful open countryside. We really enjoyed exploring the local area - so many amazing beaches, lighthouses, castles and wonderful holiday memories - and the cottage was a perfect base for our adventures in Anglesey and North Wales.

Summary: Although well presented, it was ill equipped for our long off peak stay. Nothing to use to cook in the oven save for the small grill pan (which was greasy from previous use).Tiny fridge and with door that needs switching to left hinge.. The low back sofa wasn’t comfortable for evenings in, the rustic table and benches were far too big for the space, heavy and rough to handle. The shower pressure was weak. We really missed a king-sized bed. We were offered mid stay service but it didn’t happen despite housekeeping anttending to units on either side on several occasions. That said the owners we encountered busy on the other buildings were welcoming and considerate. The atmosphere was relaxing and in a beautiful position.- if you don’t mind the daily fly by of RAF fighter jets..

Summary: Enjoyed our dog friendly holiday at the granary in Anglesey. The area around our accomodation was lovely and peaceful, farmland and not too far from the beach at Rossneiger. We had everything we needed in the cottage, all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery and a nice welcome tray plus a few treats for our dog too. The owner was really pleasant and welcoming, we were happy with everything from the comfy beds to the enclosed small rear garden, safe for the dog. You could also exercise your dog in the field opposite and there where lots of lovely walks around the area. It was a good base to explore all the island, just a short drive from the Express way. We would deffinatly visit the property again. We was lucky with the weather especially at the time of year we visited but it was made more comfortable as the accommodation was nice, warm and homely.

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights over new year, the house itself is fine, the electric panel heaters are really good, the washing machine/dryer is good, the microwave needs replacing as the paint inside the door has flaked off and is rusty, the bowls look old and are all cracked, bed is comfortable ( only used the double, well 3/4) the shower is useless, not hot and zero pressure, location is OK, nice walk into Rhosneigr, my wife had to hoover all downstairs because of dog hairs everywhere, like tumbleweed, while i washed cutlery, plates and cups as they were either stained or felt greasy, it was certainly left cleaner than we found it, we have stayed in many properties using Anglesey holiday lettings but this one was a bit of a let down.

Summary: Overall we had a good stay but had a few minor issues which we didn't report at the time as we arrived on Boxing day just for a few days so wasn't worth it and they weren't major problems. The accomodation looks like it was cleaned a while before we arrived as there were a few dead flies and even a dead wasp ( in Dec? ) on the bed. The microwave was rusty and a baking tray in the oven had cremated old food stuck solid on it. The settee seat gaps had lots of old dog hair & fluff encrusted down there. The fridge was way too small for the amount of people it should serve. AHL said all lets have something festive done for Xmas and the other cottages on the lot had trees but ours didn't so we were a bit disappointed ( maybe as we arrived Boxing day? ) On a more positive note the beds were comfy, the oven was easy to use and the heaters warmed the whole place really quickly. The location down a track made it really peaceful.

Summary: What a beautiful cottage and location. The table in the yard at the back was brilliant, on the last night we even got to watch the jets on training while having our dinner, most nights we watched the bats flying around too. Everything you could need for your stay, location is close to so many of our favourite places in Anglesey. Decorated beautifully and very welcoming with milk and biscuits provided on arrival, hand wash, washing up liquid, cleaning spray, everything was included. The only slight negative is the cleanliness, the vacuum smells really bad when you turn it on, the mop left more bits on the floor than cleaning it and odds bit around the property could do with a bit more deeper clean. It wouldn’t stop us returning though, we’ll be back next summer. What a lovely place to stay and very reasonable for the money we paid.
