The house was built in the 1940’s and has been completely remodeled on the inside utilizing small accents of its history in the walls, floors (the grate), and brick.
This 2 bed room, 1 bath house offers a full kitchen, formal dining table, laundry access, and 1 pull out couch. The house also offers a backyard with a large patio, a grill, outdoor chairs, fire pit & fire table

Summary: This was a great place to stay for our visit to Searcy. House was well done for the remodel, and we felt comfortable staying here. The next door neighbor has a dog that barks quite a bit, but it was controlled during the evening, so it was a non-issue. Had great communication with the hosts, and check in/out was easy and reasonable. Will definitely look to stay here again should we end up being frequent visitors to Searcy.

Summary: We had the opportunity to stay at the Grate House on a visit to Harding University. It was a perfect location close to everything we needed and a nice cozy place to stay while visiting. The hosts communicated everything we needed and the checking and check out was seamless. Highly recommend!

Summary: We absolutely loved this home! It was beautiful and had everything we needed! Close to quant downtown Searcy, it was the perfect pet friendly space with the fenced yard! The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive! Highly recommend!!

Summary: Beautifully remodeled. Loved the countertops and everything was right there. Very homey and comfortable. Couldn’t do a 5 star due to our reaction to previous pet exposure on the guest bed and couch, but we have now learned to go no pet homes. We’re just more sensitive than others I guess. It’s a very nice, well thought out house, much better than a hotel.
