Positive: Excellent breakfast, comfortable breakfast room. Good cafetiere coffee and juice also supplied. With the choice available the breakfast would also suite a vegetarian. Quick service.

Negative: Would have preferred the the choice of a double bed.

Summary: Very good accommodation and nice comfortable pub and garden area with views of the hills.

Positive: The room and en suite shower room was lovely and clean and spacious, even with 4 adults sharing. The meals we ordered in the pub were delicious and excellent value for money. The beds were very comfortable and we all had excellent sleep

Negative: Perhaps a fridge would be helpful and maybe a little more storage for clothes

Positive: wonderful breakfast and a choice of about 7 or 8 items. All of the staff were friendly and the location of the property for MY needs was perfect. Would definitely visit again.

Negative: Only a small point but maybe blinds that could be pulled up/down rather than folded up. But as i said just a small point

Positive: Generally really happy with our stay here. It is a lovely unsophisticated country pub with a great friendly atmosphere. The room that we had was in an outbuilding. It was a good size, clean and with an excellent though not enermous shower. The restaurant was good with a decent range of pub grub and the breakfast was hot tasty and plentiful. It is ideally placed between Devizes and Westbury on the Wessex Ridgeway trail. All in all a near perfect stop for two hot sweaty and tired walkers.

Negative: Not really.

Positive: The breakfast was really good and the service great. The evening meal was only the pub grub menu that evening, but still good. The young chap who served us was very helpful

Negative: The blinds in the room didn't close properly and, letting in lots of light and making it less private. These need to be changed in my opinion.

Summary: Very good, would stay again no problem, but would like the blinds changed for me to rate excellent
