Positive: Bedding and towels clean. Peaceful location. Rooms and bathroom a good size. Food fabulous.

Negative: Tired and in need of a bit of TLC. Bed very soft giving bad back. Stains on divan part of bed, what appears to be water leak marks on walls, TV cracked on case and lines across screen when switched on. As I say the room just needs some TLC.

Summary: Peaceful, but needs a little love injected into the rooms

Positive: It was a relaxed pub, not busy as it was Wednesday but as I was in England for a funeral it was ideal. Good sized room, clean comfortable bed, reliable WiFi and value for money food. Ample parking . Fine breakfast.

Negative: No issues.

Positive: This was a great location for our family get together. Easy parking and separate rooms for each family. Family dinner in the evening and then a tasty breakfast in the morning. This was our 2nd stay here and the service was much better this time and we had a real cup of coffee at breakfast from the coffee machine (rather than filtered) which made a great start to the day. Good and friendly service from the manager

Negative: Some confusion at check in as we all have the same surname but booked through different channels with different quality rooms.

Summary: Very good for larger groups to get together, stay and eat
