Positive: Room itself was ok Exterior architecture lovely what was obviously once a beautiful and cherished venue . Communication from owners was good.
Negative: Honestly it gave off a really unwelcome vibe. Dirty workman’s soiled shoes and clothes all along the front like it was a backpackers or temper oath workers accomodation - not a place you’d book for a holiday - the inside stank like an old curry someone probably cooked in a communal kitchen. Little respect from other guests who talked loudly in the common areas and hallways past 3am

Positive: The communication from the staff was exceptional. We had a few issues but they were resolved quickly. We requested a slightly early check in as we had a commitment at 2pm and we were allowed to check in just after 1pm.
Negative: There was a room change late on the day due to a plumbing issue and our room was downgraded so that we had a smaller room and separate toilet. Not staffs fault and they did provide a reduced price. However, the only heating was a small electric heater in the room and the remainder of the building was very cold, such as when accessing our now separate bathroom. Cleanliness was not up to par. We found underwear in our room and windowsills etc were dirty. When I contacted management about the underwear they had a cleaner to us in under 10minutes which was appreciated but just left us feeling unsure about the cleaning practices employed.
