Positive: The location was great for our needs.
Negative: Only 2 bathrooms no downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bedroom had white mold growing in the wall above the head bed with paint peeling off . There was no mirror in the bedroom & the pillows were uncomfortable & the bed was 2 single put together so had a dip in the middle which made a very uncomfortable sleep. The bedside cabinet drawers in a couple of bedrooms had not been cleaned. No welcome pack & no toiletries.
Summary: No welcome pack very unusual for a house stay like this & no toiletries again not what was expected.

Positive: The Hame was a great location to the town for shopping and many many restaurants and pubs with a Free car park by the leisure centre 2 minutes from the house.The house was ornate and beautifully decorated but with a new kitchen with all facilities and modern bathrooms. All beds were exceptionally comfortable. Huge rooms especially the dinning room and lounge. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough for a girl catchup. The price was unbelievable and we have great weather to make it perfect for the time of year. The key box was easily accessed and I gained access at 13.30 instead of 3 pm as we happened to be earlier than expected.
Negative: Absolutely nothing is was perfect. The building itself was stunning

Negative: It was a little chilly as the heating was difficult to figure out. I appreciate that the fire exit sign is a legal requirement, but the internal windows in the main bedroom make it distracting at night.

Positive: The Hame is a good size and reasonabley priced. It is handy for town and surrounding countryside plenty of crockery, cutlery and plates. Comfortable beds, nice towels. Clean apart from under sofas.
Negative: Insufficient serving dishes/ fruit bowl/salad bowl. no large saucepan. poor lighting in living room. needs a clean under the sofas dining room very echoey, could do with a large rug to absorb some of the noise. tap in kitchen loose and flimsy , side of the bath hanging off.

Positive: Great location. Very good set of accommodation with a very nice lounge and separate large dining.
Negative: No coffee machine. Cooker only top small oven works No downstairs WC ( inconvenient when there are a lot of us)
