Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway! The bungalow was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The family was so kind, helpful and welcoming, which made us feel really at home. We also loved the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast! The owners can also help organize many activities. We rented a scooter through them, which was very easy and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Hideaway! ❤️

Positive: Absolutely loved this cute little place. It is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle right in the middle of nature yet close enough to the centre of sigarya via tuktuk for eating and sightseeing. The family were so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. We really felt looked after and cared for. We would have loved to have stayed for longer and it was definitely one of the best accommodation we have stayed in whilst travelling in Asia for 7 weeks
Negative: Nothing!
Summary: Perfect hideaway!

Positive: We had the most beautiful stay at Sigiriya The Hideaway. From the moment we arrived at 2am, Nimali and Gayan welcomed us with food and so much kindness—it meant everything after a long journey. The place is adorable, very clean, and feels incredibly homey. But what truly made it special was them. Nimali and Gayan treated us like family from the very beginning. They were always so helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and constantly checking in on us. They even prepared and packed breakfast for us when we went to Lion Rock, like we were their own children. It was such a genuine and humble experience, and we will never forget their warmth and hospitality. Highly, highly recommend staying here 🤍

Positive: The property was in such a lovely setting and had chairs outside you could sit at and read. It was lovely and tidy and good shower and fluffy towels. The family who own it made it though! So so lovely and kind and interested in us. They sat and chatted for ages when we arrived and the kids were lots of fun too. And of course we loved Molly, Dolly, Lassie and Kitty. The family were so hospitable I cooked with them for dinner and they taught me a lot about Sri Lankan food.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: What a fabulous wee spot to stay with such a lovely host family!
