Positive: I was delighted by my stay in The Highlander. The house was larger inside than it appeared from the outside and it had everything I needed for a pleasant week of exploring and relaxing. It had the double benefit of being within easy strolling distance of Eilean Donan and yet it was amazingly quiet and I was barely aware of all the tourists coming and going. It also had a hotel within a few yards for those evenings when I didn't fancy cooking. I loved my time here and would definitely choose it again.
Negative: My only trivial complaint - bedroom upstairs, toilet downstairs! When you get to that age...
Summary: Comfy, well-equipped and ideally located. I loved my stay here!

Positive: Review for Highlander This was a delightful place to stay. We arrived on a cold, wet day and it was so cozy and welcoming! The house was warm, there were fresh flowers in the lounge, milk and butter/jam in the fridge and a loaf of bread on the kitchen counter. All the appliances were high quality and a pleasure to use, the heating was easy to adjust, and the power shower worked well. It was very quiet at night, despite the proximity of the road. The location is ideal for trips to the Isle of Skye, but also for local walks along the loch. Eilean Donan castle is a short hop across the street and can be accessed even after closing time for an evening stroll. From there, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. Shena and Lesley are lovely hosts.

Positive: Ideal location, cozy, clean, private faultless There's even a view of Eilean Donan castle from the front room Cottage was also very well equipped with generous additional touches, easy access to Skye, Plockton, Lochcarron etc , don't hesitate to book!!!!!
