Positive: Our stay at The Hive at 52 was fantastic. I booked the Comfy Bee room because it was on the ground floor and had a walk-in shower and it didn’t disappoint. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable super-king bed, lovely bed linen, extra pillows if needed, a fine tray of teas, coffees with fab shortbread biscuits for a midnight snack, (yeah right!) AND extra points awarded for having electrical sockets and usb chargers just where you need them. The bathroom was generously sized (bigger than our spare bedroom actually) and there were good quality complementary toiletries, huge fluffy white towels and excellent lighting. Our breakfast was delicious and I tried something I’d never had before - a Dutch dish called poffertjes which were little delicious pancake cushions with bacon and maple syrup - yummy! Our hosts Harro and Lucy were absolutely delightful, we were made so very welcome and felt totally at ease in their gorgeous home. We will be sure to return for another stay next time we are visiting the lovely county of Cheshire.

Positive: An airy room with a king size bed and comfortable furniture and good size ensuite. The shower was over the bath and plenty of hot water. The rooms were clean and well furnished .Excellent tea tray with fresh milk.

Negative: I would have preferred a shower cubicle.
