They were prompt at answering our phone call and addressing our concerns. The rental was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were comfortable. It is about 20 minutes from Paso Robles so we planned our day trips and had no problems with driving. There is a nice view from the deck out over the lake. Great place for a large group.

Plenty of space for our group to spread out, and all come together and eat or play games. The driveway was a little difficult to find. Will book again for future girls' weekends!

All rooms were very clean and the bedding was first rate. We cooked all meals in the main house kitchen that included every pot, pan, appliance, and condiment we could have asked for! We even used the BBQ for a huge dinner celebration. The views from the impressive patio were amazing! Everyone wants to go back again in the future.

Summary: My extended family and I spent a few days and we enjoyed ourselves. It was very convenient to have the place stocked with little things we forgot to bring ourselves. Didn’t have to do a quick run down to the store for small items. Kids had fun and played with the games in the house. Adults were able to connect and talk to one another without it feeling crowded. Overall, it was great and having good AC was perfect in the heat. We saw shooting stars late in the middle of the night. Great place to get away to!

Summary: I filled out a review from Paso Robles that has a full explanation. Everything was great except for a broken toilet which was between 2 bedrooms housing 4 parents and 5 children. These families had to use the 2 baths in the 2 master bedrooms.The door of the broken bathroom had to be closed as the odor was horrible.The shower and sink could not be used.

Summary: The property was listed under Paso Robles when the actual location was Bradley. House was in good condition but we were not allowed access to the garage nor setting the A/C below 72 degrees when the temperature was 110 outside. Took quite a while at night for the house to cool down enough for a comfortable sleep. Host, however, was helpful and responsive.

Simple check-in and out, breathtaking views, comfortable and well-equipped house with plenty of space for multiple families traveling together, as well as tons of toys and activities for the littles. This was one of my favorite vacations of my entire life, and that was in big part due to this epic location!

Reviewer Comments: The J's Nest Deluxe is hidden away between two lakes near Paso Robles. We loved waking up to deer on the hillside, birds in the trees, and rabbits hopping around the property. The house had plenty of games and books, wifi, and TVs in just about every room. The outside deck has beautiful views down to Lake San Antonio where deer, cattle, and boar come to the lake to drink. Our stay was perfect aside from a groundwater issue with the well that permeated the house with a strong sulfur smell (really need to address that somehow). Other than that, it was great; close enough to highway 1 to visit Hearst Castle and the tide pools. Far enough away from town to allow for a wind-down from city life. Overall, we loved it!
