Located about 5 miles from Blenheim Hill farm, and 10 miles from 7 Ponds farm. Our home was built in 1857, 5 bedroom 2 bath home located in Jefferson NY. The home sits just off the town green and is in walking distance to the Heartbreak, a town bar and restaurant and the Breakfast place. It sits on almost two acres and the back deck overlooks a stream and Mount Jefferson.
Jefferson is a small town and is in close proximity to many neighboring towns and attractions. We are about 10 minutes from Stamford, 20-25 minutes from Oneonta and Cobleskill. Cooperstown is about a 40 minute drive and Windham and Hunter mountains are about a 45 - 50 minute drive.
Kymar Farm and distillery is 7 miles away,
Simpler Times Farm is near by, and Buck Hill Farm less than a mile away as well.

Summary: Perfect home for our family to stay for a wedding and other activities at Seven Ponds Farm. Meticulous, charming, well stocked with updated appliances. The best part was the luxurious beds. Also enjoyed driving the back roads to savor the peak time to enjoy the fall foliage. Definitely recommend it.

Summary: Beautiful home, pictures don’t do it justice. Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding at a local venue. Very clean well stocked coffee/cream eggs spices and other staples. A couple of downfalls, not much hot water gets cold after 1 shower, with 8 people staying and can hold up to 11 it’s a problem, imagine getting ready for a wedding. We had to take cold showers. And upstairs is hot, 1 air conditioner in 1 upstairs bedroom and windows can’t be opened. Other than those 2 items it was a perfect stay. I wouldn’t mind no air conditioning if windows could be opened and if there were fans available.

Summary: For the most part the property was quite charming and the common spaces were much more spacious than what I was expected from the photos. The decor was rustic and farmhouse-y. The back deck had string lights and overlooked a pretty view. We were looking forward to using the fire pit, but it was quite overgrown and seemed unsafe to use. The downstairs bedrooms were quite nice. The main bedroom was bright and airy with beautiful beams, skylights, and view of the property. The upstairs bedrooms were quite pitiful however. Low ceilings, small windows, and dated carpets and bedspreads. There was one fewer room than was listed on the property and 1-2 fewer beds. The door to the "bedroom" with the bunkbeds could not close because it would hit the bedframe and was nested inside another bedroom. As we were traveling with 9 adult friends, the bed count created a BIG issue and we had to purchase air mattresses to accommodate the number of people. I had contacted the host upon arrival and she had informed me that had never been an issue - I'm confused though because #of bedrooms and bed count does not match the listing. All in all we had a good time and made due with the bed situation, it was unfortunate because otherwise it would have been a great stay!

Summary: My extended family and I were there to attend my son's wedding at a nearby venue. There were eight adults and we were all very comfortable! The living areas were all very inviting and we spent a lot of time out on the deck, enjoying the quietude and the bullfrog chorus in the pond behind the house. Food shopping is not exactly convenient but we managed! I think I'm safe in saying that we all would all recommend this house highly!

Summary: The home was great for us to visit and catch up and get ready for the wedding. I was given the incorrect code from website and cell phone service was sketchy. The TV in the living room was not working, and many remotes with no instructions. Those would be helpful. Finally got correct code and then all was well.

Summary: My family and sister's family recently spent a week at The Jefferson House, visiting my parents post COVID. What a lovely choice for a family reunion! It had everything we needed and more. Great location as well for travel in the central Catskills. Thanks to our hosts! Highly recommended.

Summary: We had the pleasure of staying at the Jefferson House for a wedding at the Blenheim Hill Farm. We were a party of 11 and had ample space for all. We were 3 families with our adult children and enjoyed being able to have space and together time. The home is beautiful, updated and offered everything you need. Eric and Glenna have thought of everything and are very responsive. I would like to acknowledge A and D Transport Services for anyone needing car service. They were very accommodating for our large party and well priced. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
