Positive: Incredibile retreat in the midst of the jungle. The decor is so researched - hands down one of the most beautiful room I have stayed in a hotel - every detail is studied and so fitting. Meals nurturing and wholesome and the ayurvedic treatment was unique.... Staying at samadhi has been the best choice of our Sri Lanka trip!

Positive: What a wonderful place to relax & recharge. The location is fabulous & the rooms are huge & comfortable. I had a sofa & a chaise in mine & made good use of them both. I had a cold whilst I was here & I couldn’t have wished for a better place to recover. I spent a lot of time resting on the sofa, looking out at the sea of green, listening to the sound of the river & the birds singing

Negative: It rained a lot whilst I was there which made the paths quite slippery

Positive: 10/10, if you are looking for a retreat in the middle of the nature, with delicious typical Sri Lanka food and a spiritual experience immerse in a beautiful well decorated site and rooms, you should stop by. They offered Ayurveda treatments, yoga lessons,.cookery class and there are plenty of waterfalls and beautiful spots for hikings. The staff is always very gentle and around to support. Of you are expecting best WiFi connections, not willing to connect with natures and animals and looking for western food and commodities look for something else.

Negative: Actually I loved everything. If I need to find minor suggestions, beds could have been more comfortable and shower water was only hot or cold.

Positive: overall our stay has been truly pleasant. the staff are always warm, supportive, and welcoming, with genuine smiles that make you feel at home. the property is beautifully immersed in nature, an enchanting place that’s easy to fall in love with. the yoga sessions were simply amazing and added so much value to the experience.

Negative: the cleanliness of the place is almost nonexistent, everything is covered in dust. in a way, it adds to the charm, as if the place were frozen in time, but given the amount paid, I would have expected more attention to cleanliness. what really concerned me were the pillows, which were full of mold inside. i understand that it’s difficult to manage humidity in the middle of a forest, but this is a serious health issue. please, take extra care with this!!
