Summary: acceptable. old fashioned cook tops needs new replacement as it takes forever to cook. i think steps at the front of the house needs a new replacement as it is very old and rot can be dangerous. the bunk beds and mattresses are comfortable at all. My kids won’t sleep in at all. Apart from these i think the house is nice and the communication with the host is easy accessible.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Lake Shack!The house is a good size for a family of four, and is located in a quiet street but is only a 2 minute drive down the the beach/lake parking area. The local shop at the end of the road is very handy as well. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only thing I would add is another fan so that each bedroom could have a fan for the nights, as we didnt wish to leave the aircon on overnight. My children loved the board games and feeding the birds. The outside area was lovely, with a bbq and firepit too. well.

Summary: Great stay at the lake shack. Literally enjoyed everything about our stay. We found the place clean as a whistle which was welcome after the chaos of Christmas! The cottage is well equipped and comfortable for our family of four. The only drawbacks being: There are loads of excellent DVDs but we couldn’t find a machine to play them in! Also, sadly no dishwasher… so old school washing up after every meal! All in all, an excellent stay and we would all love to visit again!

Summary: A classic shack, with a welcoming beach feel. It has everything you need, very comfortable, light and airy, and very well equipped. The perfect place to rest. Close to the water, refreshing walks around the river and beach to Cunjurong Point, swimming and kayaking, and just relaxing. Lovely to see kangaroos and birds, really is a lovely part of Australia. Kylie’s instructions were clear and concise and welcoming. Thank you.

Summary: One of the cosiest and cleanest lake shacks I’ve stayed at. Location was great, short distance to the beach, lake and local general store which was a bonus. We couldn’t have stayed at a better place, Kylie was super friendly, accommodating and communicative. Couldn’t have asked for a better owner/host. 5 stars all the way !!
