Positive: The breakfast was lovely and the ladies were exceptionally kind and welcoming
Negative: We both love dogs, but I could see that the owners dogs running out to greet you could be off putting to some people. Perhaps keep them away from initial greeting.
Summary: We couldn't have felt more welcomed, very relaxing stay. Facilities were very comfortable.

Positive: It was a lovely stay with Edith and Carrie. They are such warm hosts and they could not have been more welcoming. We lived everything about The Lampet Arms which is so different to staying in a modern, faceless chain hotel we actually felt as though we were staying in someone's home 🏡 and that was more apparent when Carrie served us her delicious home made food. 😋 We had great chats with Edith and between us all we put the world to right. It was all delightful made even more delightful with the entry of the three gorgeous dogs and Carrie's delicious home made cakes .

Positive: Lovely large bedroom and bathroom and was met with a friendly welcome.
Negative: We arrived on a very cold day and at the time there was no heating on in the room, it did come on about 45 minutes later and was then lovely and warm but it would have been nice to arrive to a warm room. Also the hosts had 3 large dogs and the pub was very dog friendly which was great if you liked dogs but not so good if you didn't. It may help to make this very clear upfront to avoid disappointment from "non dog lovers"

Positive: Truly memorable stay from start to finish. In spite of arriving early the welcome from both hosts was outstanding; the bar - and pub dogs - was exactly what every English local pub should be; our accommodation large, warm, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable; the evening meal outstanding and the breakfast, as covered in most earlier reviews, among the best I've ever had. Our thanks to Edith and Carrie - we'll certainly be back.

Positive: The staff were lovely , very friendly and accommodating. The evening meal we had and cooked breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh to order . Plenty of options too . The dogs were adorable and so friendly. We stayed two nights in a very comfortable coach house with all the facilities we needed .
Negative: The tv was rather small but adequate. And the fridge was abit small . But served it’s purpose . A little dated in areas but ok and everything was maintained well .
Summary: Very nice, lovely staff and was we were made to feel welcome , lovely village community spirit

Positive: Edith & Carrie are amazing hosts , we stayed to be near Shenington for a karting weekend , nothing was too much trouble , Carrie cooks a very delicious breakfast ,Edith is front of house hosting sorting drinks etc, would definately stay here again , full marks
