Summary: Great Barrier Island is amazing. Lazy Fish is a magical location. Comfy beds, well appointed kitchen. Walking distance to a wonderful pub and restaurant. Local store has all you need, and the cove is a stunning tableau. Great place for a getaway, but good entertainment too

Summary: We stayed at The Lazy Fish and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely home. All of the amenities of modern living off the grid, this home was the perfect place for our visit to GBI. We had fresh food from the store to make lunch and breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed walking to Currach’s pub for dinner. The sunset views were spectacular. If you want to get away from fast-paced city life, this ideally located home is for you. Tara, the manager, was so responsive and met us at the property. We highly recommend this property.
