3 Bedroom House in Whangapoua

Modern comfortable architect designed bach, two sections back from the beach on the edge of the river.
Kayak up the river to the beach in one of our kayaks. There is a laser yacht for guests' use.
The section is large for children and there are tents if kids would like to sleep outside. The bunk room and spare bedroom are slightly separate from the main bedroom giving privacy to the those in the master bedroom.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher. Laundry has a washing machine and dryer.
Wireless broadband is fast.
There's always a stack of dry firewood in the garage.
Weber gas barbecue.
Bed linen provided. Please bring your own bath and beach towels.
Special conditions:
Min 3 nights stay. Peak prices apply during public hols. Deposit of 25% required to confirm bookings as well as credit card # in case of damage. Bookings require 8 weeks cancellation notice. Full payment needed if rental is within 10 weeks. Max 8 people, we prefer fewer.

Summary: Loved our stay here, the rural outlook over the river whilst being a block from the beach was such a treat. Perfect layout for our group and being able to access kayaks from the house was really appreciated. Would love to stay here again

Summary: A lovely stay thanks to generous hosts. The location cannot be beaten and the property has wonderful big picture windows looking out. Minor areas where the property is showing its age and only watch out for parents is that the kids room leads to outside with the parents room somewhat separate. A brilliant stay in this Bach - our whole family loved it- thank you!

Summary: The Bach was well located in a beautiful peaceful and private setting It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 school aged children - close to the beach and with plenty of safe play area around the Bach It had all the necessary kitchen laundry and outdoor equipment and furniture to make our stay easy and comfortable for 8. The design and layout of the Bach was really lovely and very condusive to a relaxed and happy family holiday We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Bach.

Summary: The bach was excellent and proved an ideal base for meeting up with my son and his girlfriend. The facilities and location were both very good. Good use was made of the Kayaks and once we discovered the path, the walk to New Chums beach was well worth the effort. The property was clean and very well equipped, the broadband was particularly useful. Whilst there are now properties adjacent to the bach (not visible on Google earth) they were unoccupied and are unlikely to be intrusive.

Summary: Loved the house and the setting. Originally were looking for beachfront but so glad we took this place. Amazing sunsets and shelter from the sea breezes. The place is so open and light and huge ranchsliders that open and feel like your outdoors. Great place for kids and so close to beach. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.
