Positive: The location is stunning. The cottage is gorgeous, with a lovely rich history. It's beautiful, very peaceful with an amazing view of the stars at night.
Negative: Some of the information was hidden, we had to look in the cupboard of the lounge table, it was fine though!

Positive: The photos didn’t do it justice. Lovely little touches- a kettle/ teapot in the bedroom plus a welcome pack. Very spacious and well equipped with comfy beds. Walks from the cottage and easy driving distance to places of interest. Lovely friendly staff at Waterside restaurant in Keilder.

Positive: A superb location and a beautifully renovated cottage. Our stay was peaceful, calming and we very much felt at one with nature. It was lovely to just open the door and feel the worries of the world slip away. Stylish decor, cosy and warm with the two log burners. A Beautiful welcome basket on arrival. We did not want for anything, everything had been thought of. My son and I felt very at home and will definitely be returning. Zena and Simon are lovely and thoughtful hosts and care very much about your stay ensuring you have everything that you need. My son was very impressed with the dark skies and was glad he brought his telescope! He also caught an otter (on his wild camera) by the river opposite the cottage. Newcastleton (10 minutes or so away) for restaurants, shop (which sells everything!) Pub. Larger towns are within a half hour drive. All set in the most beautiful countryside, it is perfect!!

Positive: exquisite property, stylish, luxurious, tranquil, amazing attention to detail, so many unexpected extra’s, very warm hosts, amazing base for walking in Keilder and from the house. As air Bnb hosts ourselves, this is the best accomodation we have ever stayed in.

Positive: A beautiful cottage, in a stunning location. Every little detail had been thought about in the cottage, so it really felt like a cosy home with added luxury! Outside your door, beautiful countryside, great for walking or cycling. Also fantastic for stargazing - in a dark skies area - I have never seen the stars so clearly anywhere else. Great location - just a few miles from Kielder forest/water and the observatory.
Negative: There is nothing I would change about this stay.
