This charming home offers a jumping off point to all the area’s attractions and a homey atmosphere to hunker down in at night. It’s just a short hop to Port Orford’s beaches, Garrison Lake, local artists' galleries and one of a kind restaurants featuring seafood, homemade pastries, breads, soups, and other goodies.
The main floor bedroom has a California king bed, large closet, and a full bathroom with step-in shower en suite. The upstairs bedroom has queen bed, a trundle day bed, a mini-fridge and microwave for those midnight snacks, and a full bath with shower/tub combo. The two living room couches are long enough for sleeping.
This 1940's home features a fully-outfitted kitchen with several coffee makers, Keurig, blender, waffle maker, mixer, pots and pans, cookie sheets, muffin tins, utensils, dishes, flatware. Front-loading LG washer and dryer on site. Bring your dog, if you wish, to hang out in a pet friendly enclosed patio or in the small dog run in the back yard.
There's WiFi, a VCR/DVD player, and a lots of games, puzzles, VCR's and DVD’s for when you just want to hang out at home for a while before heading out for your next adventure.
Your hosts, Susan and Wiz, bought the house in June 2016. Susan is a former live theatre set designer and hopes to recapture the ambiance of the 1940's while providing all the conveniences modern travelers expect from a vacation home. The house is fully functional, clean and cozy.

Summary: We have stayed in many places and this is one of my favorite places we've stayed! The only issues we had were small and taken care of right away by the host, who was also great to work with. Love the decor and the covered back patio which was a treat during the stormy conditions.

Summary: Susan was so nice and accomodating. Upon learning I was traveling alone with no plan on what to do, she gave some great recommendations of things to do and see nearby. I stayed for a week and this was the perfect place to stay. Not too far from the ocean, but far enough away that you dont get all of the 101 traffic. The house was very clean. Susan makes the check in and check out process very simple. I loved my stay at The Lily Pad and in Port Orford. I will most definitely be back to share its beauty with others!

Summary: We had an amazing time. We rented the lily pad for my moms annual birthday fishing trip up the elk. It was a very nice place to come back to after long days of fishing. Susan was great and was very prompt when we came in late after fishing. The lily pad is homey and has everything you would need!

Summary: The Lily Pad truly has a nice home away from home vibe. It’s very quiet with a lot of privacy even though it’s in a neighborhood. After a day of adventures it always felt so good to get back home and relax in the comfort of this well stocked home. We especially enjoyed the attached sun room. Susan was a delight & made sure we were right at home. We will definitely stay here again.
