Summary: 🏨 Hidden gem alert! 🍽️ Just spent a couple of days at The Lion at Malpas and what a find. Beautiful rooms, fantastic food, and great attention to detail throughout. Summary: Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.

Summary: Wonderful stay and a lovely room. Had breakfast both morning - delicious though service was a bit slow and had to go ask for buffet table to be replenished - could ba bit more attentive. Had evening meal both nights and food was delicious and excellent service
