Summary: The house was very clean and everything was there. You do need a car for shopping. But it is not far. Just 5 km.

Summary: This lovely cottage was amazing to stay in, it was in immaculate condition and we were left some spaghetti to have for dinner the night of our arrival. Both Marianne and Gunther were lovely to share a space with as they made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the get go. Marianne's English was superb and she was always willing to help us and answer our questions. We couldn't have asked for better hosts! The area both within and surrounding the town is full of endless things to do and see making the location an excellent spot! We really recommend this place to other couples! :)

Summary: A fantastic, quaint cottage in an idyllic small village. The Cottage was spotless on arrival and we were left a basket of goodies and enough food for our first nights meal. Marianne was fantastic, she is very knowledgeable about the local area and was a delight to chat to. If you have any questions or need recommendations for things to do in the area, she is more than happy to help. Her Hospitality really made our holiday special. There is plenty to do in the area; walks, lakes, historic towns and cities. And the area was so beautiful! We liked it so much we hope to return in the coming years!

Summary: Our stay at Marys Cottage is one that we will never forget for all the right reasons! Upon entering the cottage there was a basket of goodies to make up our evening meal and even a bottle of wine to wash it down. For a family of 4 the cottage was cosy, warm and very clean. Marianne and her family went the extra mile to make our holiday special , recommending places to visit, eat and activities for the children; highlights included Phantasialand and Cologne zoo.There were many more interesting places to visit and if you want to find out you'll have to book the cottage and find out where in the guest book!!!!!!!

Summary: We spent two weeks relaxed in this cottage. It has every thing you need and Marianne was lovely. There was a lovely basket of goodies when we arrived so no need to rush out to buy anything and she was always on hand to answer questions about best places to visit. I would recommend this cottage very highly and the local people were so friendly too. It is close to the lake, Cologne and the Eifel National Park so you can enjoy many different days out.

Summary: What an enchanting little cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to couples. The owner Marianne is the best and will do her utmost to make your stay a happy and pleasurable experience. A welcome basket of groceries, ingredients to make a meal, fresh flowers,wine and chocolates on your pillow make it all feel so romantic. Also very very clean and beautifully decorated. Friendly village with a lovely pub which serves good food. Lots of places round and about to visit and Cologne ( Koln ) an easy train ride away with it's magnificent cathedral. The stairs to the first floor and bedroom are more like ladders so not really suitable for small children and the elderly.
